MAURICE THURMAN (UNITED KINGDOM)
Maurice Thurman, B.Sc(Hons), P.G.C.E., M.Ed., is a retired Science teacher who has lived and taught on four continents.
He is an internationally published author of several books. His passion and knowledge concerning classic Land Rovers has enabled him to partake in a variety of adventures worldwide and has lead him to establish a much respected knowledge-based website concerning the maintenance of these vehicles.
He has a pragmatically simple and hands-on LEGAL approach to life, encompassing Love, Equality, Generosity, Accountability and Laughter. He fervently believes that life is what we make of it and that 'We are What We Eat'.
He is part of our panel of Honorary Advisors to advise and work with us on matters related to the improvement of the structure of Language teaching to individuals.
A NOTE FROM MAURICE THURMAN
Our global world is fascinatingly diverse in its nature. As individuals, we have much to learn and experience by mutual exchange of ideas and cultural values. Natural medicine, languages, music and the performing arts embody core attributes capable of fostering cross-cultural links. I shall endeavour to assist in whatever way I can towards achievement of the Academy's goals and aspirations.
